Quick Weight Loss Tips
Maybe thereâs something big coming up â family reunion, wedding, the big dance or something else. Or maybe you just want to drop some pounds quickly to motivate yourself to drop more. Whatever the reason you find yourself looking for some quick weight loss tips. Here are some pointers from what I did that resulted in me dropping 30 pounds in less than 3 months. 10 pounds of it was in less than 2 weeks.
1)Â Â Â Â Â Evaluate what youâre eating every day and look for ways you can remove calories easily â smaller portions, dropping that snack in front of the TV, etc.
2)     Plan your meals. Pack your lunch. It can be tough when youâre in a hurry to plan ahead, but youâll find that when you plan ahead with healthy foods in mind youâll make better choices for every meal. If you just go for what available and quick and tasty when itâs time to eat youâll be eating way more calories than you need.
3)Â Â Â Â Â Drop the high-carb foods like poison. White bread, donuts and cake are the worst for this. Replace white bread with whole grain bread. If your mom tried to get you to eat whole wheat bread when you were a kid you may share the apprehension I had when I first tried whole grain bread. But Iâve found there are a lot of multi grain breads out there that taste better than white bread (in my opinion anyway â they are definitely tasty).
4)Â Â Â Â Â Eat more protein. Fish, eggs, nuts… Eat some protein with every meal and snack. Protein helps you feel full and keeps you from getting hungry for longer periods.
5)     Exercise. A little is way better than none. Start out by going for a walk if thatâs what you need to do. But a run is much better cardio exercise. Or go for a swim. Add in some weight training to make sure youâre getting your fast twitch and slow twitch muscle fibers working for you to help burn calories.
These are just a few of the quick weight loss tips I can offer you. They are the biggest things I did to lose 30 pounds in less than 3 months. Iâm not even sure how long it took exactly because I wasnât weighing myself on a daily or even weekly basis. But when I did step on the scale I was amazed at how far my weight had dropped. And as long as I remember these rules and apply them in my daily meal planning and exercise routine I keep the weight off.
